The MultiPlus, as the name suggests, is a combined inverter and shore power charger in one elegant package. Its many features include a true sine wave inverter, adaptive charging, hybrid PowerAssist technology, plus multiple system integration features.
It is perfectly suited for an ambulance application to power the unique medical equipment of today and tomorrow. It provides 1600 Watts of power which is 13 Amps at 120 Volts AC. Ideally suited for most vehicles with an AC power circuit.
There are many advanced features that make this inverter charger shine. PowerAssist allows the MultiPlus to supplement the capacity of an alternative source like a small generator. Where peak power is so often required only for a limited period, the MultiPlus will make sure that the insufficient generator power is immediately compensated for by power from the battery. When the load reduces, the spare power is used to recharge the battery.
This inverter charger can parallel up to 6 units to achieve higher power output. Three phase or split phase operation is also possible.
