The MultiPlus, as the name suggests, is a combined inverter and shore power charger in one elegant package. Its many features include a true sine wave inverter, adaptive charging, hybrid PowerAssist technology, plus multiple system integration features.
It is perfectly suited for an ambulance application to power all of the unique medical equipment of today and tomorrow.It provides a full 2400 Watts of power which is 20 Amps at 120 Volts AC. One of the unique features of this inverter is that itcan be paralleled with up to five additionalunitstotaling an amazing 14.4 kW of powerproduction. Picture the most robust command center with manycomputers, printers and wide screen TVs on the wall.
For applications much more complicated than an ambulance, like a mobile command center, there are other advanced features that make this inverter charger shine. PowerAssist allows the MultiPlus to supplement the capacity of an alternative source like a small generator. Where peak power is so often required only for a limited period, the MultiPlus will make sure that the insufficient generator power is immediately compensated for by power from the battery. When the load reduces, the spare power is used to recharge the battery.
